Google Account Authentication

Garett Rogers reports that Google has released Account Authentication. It allows installed applications or web applications to: (1) Be accessed by Google Accounts or (2) access Google Accounts. The program is available in two flavors: (1) Account Authentication for Installed Applications or (2) Account Authentication Proxy for Web Applications.

Infoworld doesn’t think Google is innovating:
