I see PageRank numbers decreasing on some websites. I think this may be an indication that Google is updating the visible PageRank numbers. It is December 26 – just one day after Christmas, and a few days until the New Year. Could it be a new update for 2006?

Google is offering something very similar to a social networking service with its new Personalized Search feature. It’s similar to del.icio.us:

Google Talk to communicate with AIM – Dec. 20, 2005

Google and AOL today announced that they “agreed, under certain unspecified conditions, to allow users of Google’s recently introduced instant messaging system Google Talk to communicate with users of AOL’s market-leading AIM instant messaging service.”

Google not to buy Opera

I guess there’s not likely to be a Google-Opera partnership. After all, Google’s favorite browser is Firefox: they’re even paying AdSense publishers for Firefox with Google toolbar download/installs.
